Circle, creative, sensory, gross motor and other activities are designed with the needs of this young age group in mind. Junior Night Junior youth (ages 9 to 11) are invited to join staff and friends at Off the Wall Youth Centre to help celebrate National Bird Month! On Wednesday, February 22, we will be making decorative bird feeders during our Junior Night Drop In program from 4-7 p.m. at the youth centre in Acton. Come in and have fun, and make a difference to our environment! Seniors shopping trip In Acton, shopping trips for seniors are co-ordinated monthly to assist seniors with their shopping needs. These bus trips are held on the third Tuesday of every month. Trips alternate between Stone Road Mall in Guelph and Georgetown Market Place and cost $10 and $8 respectively. If you would like to go shopping, please call Terri at 519-853-3310. Telephone reassurance Volunteers call seniors daily to provide a safety check and regular social contact. This is a great program for someone living alone; if the senior does not answer, a contact person will be notified to ensure the client's safety. A volunteer is matched with a client who has similar interests, which allows both to get to know each other and offer companionship. For more information please call Terri in Acton, 519-853-3310 or Kim in Georgetown, 905-8736502. HHCSI is a member agency of United Way of Halton Hills
