B a s e d o n t h e c l a s s i c Oliver Twist b y Charles Dickens, Lionel Bart's Oliver! has become a beloved and popular musical show since its debut in 1960. Globe's cast and crew are looking forward to bringing this timeless classic brilliantly to life this May at the John Elliott Theatre in Georgetown. With a cast of over 40 people, there are more than 20 kids in the show, most of them from your Georgetown community. These kids have been hard at work learning their music, words and choreography. Three times a week, you can find them leaping off benches, spinning on tables and dancing and singing their hearts out. Oliver! will be performed at the John Elliott Theatre on May 10, 11, 12, 17, 18 and 19 in the evenings with a matinee on Mother's Day on May 13.
