Ford promoted to District Chief Halton Hills Fire Protection and Prevention Services Captain Dave Ford has been promoted to the position of District Chief in the District One (Acton) station. Ford, a life-long Halton Hills resident, has been an active part-time member of the fire service since Feb. 1981.
