The lower parking lot of the complex in Glen Williams will become the "March Hare's Mad Shoe Lair". A 30x50 foot marquee will be madly decorated, and filled with art to see and buy. Within the tent, the Glen Oven Bakery's delights can be sampled. At the start of each day costumed characters will perform the Opening Silly Ceremonies. The more than 30 artists of the Williams Mill will welcome people to their working studios, and be pleased to talk about their art. Take a walk through the wood carvers' garden. Artwear fashion show by Bonnie Glass at 11 a.m. on Saturday, and on Sunday at 1 p.m. in the Town Hall next door. Attend in costume with your wildest shoes, and you may win a prize. The first 50 shoppers each day will receive tickets for a free tea and art draw. All manner of costume are welcome. The Party hours are Saturday, May 5, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, May 6, 12 -5 p.m. The Williams Mill Visual Arts Centre is a unique complex of historic buildings in Glen Williams that houses a gallery and studios.
