In just two days, every room can be fresh and clean. Remember that planning is the key to success; if you want to finish quickly, be sure to schedule and properly organize your spring clean-up. A few weeks before: · Choose a date and warn the family. · Make a list of the different tasks to be performed in each room, noting the expected time required to complete each task. · Make sure that you have or that you reserve any special equipment you may require (a carpet cleaner, for example). One week before: · Prepare a garbage bin (things to throw out) and three boxes: things to give away, to repair, and to store. · Each member of the family spends about fifteen minutes a day sorting through their things (books, toys, magazines, catalogues, etc.) and their clothes. · Plan to avoid the need for family laundry during that weekend: the washer will be reserved for carpets, blankets, and curtains. Friday: · Pick up and put away everything that is lying around. · Prepare the tools and the products that will be needed. · Distribute the tasks according to the ages and capabilities of each person. Saturday and Sunday: · Get up early, have breakfast, put some lively music on for a few hours and get ready to attack! · Start with a room where a carpet needs to be cleaned (so it has enough time to dry) and finish with the kitchen where there will be constant traffic throughout the weekend. merrymaids.com $40.00 OFF $10 OFF your first 4 weekly or bi-weekly cleanings New customers only.
