Amirault, a Grade 10 student, won the junior girls' high jump event at the Golden Horseshoe meet and qualified for the OFSAA track and field regionals in St. Catharines, where she placed ninth. Hartnagle qualified for the OFSAA championships this week in Ottawa for the senior boys' shot put by placing third at the South Regionals last week. Georgetown District High School Athletes of the Week Byron Hackett and Leighanne Neilson. Hackett, a member of the Rebels track team was chosen for his third place finish in the triple jump and fourth place in the 4X4 100 relay at Nelson Stadium. Neilson, also a track member, was selected for finishing fourth in the 200 metre. Christ the King Athletes of the Week are Brittany Hole and Elliott Montag. Hole, a pitcher on the Jaguars' girls softball team, was cited for allowing only one run in four innings against Milton District.
