Just before 10 p.m. on July 21 a homeowner and his girlfriend were watching a movie when they heard a noise at their front door. The homeowner opened the front door to investigate the noise and was confronted by a male with a hammer, who forced his way into the house. The suspect told him he was a police officer and threatened him with the hammer. The homeowner's girlfriend quickly called the police and the suspect fled the scene. He is described as male white, 6', 220 lbs. in his mid 40's, bald, wearing a beige hat, grey/blue faded sweatshirt. Possibly wearing jeans.
