The United Way of Milton has announced a first time collaboration with Goodwill, The Amity Group and the Halton District School Board, working with local businesses and industry to help local teens succeed. This one-year pilot project, called Way to your Future has been designed to identify and help youth at risk of not successfully completing high school by providing an alternative learning experience with job-specific training, certification and meaningful employment. Fifty students will participate in the program, which will run throughout this school year at E.C. Drury High School in Milton. Way to Your Future is being funded directly by donations to United Way of Milton. Employers are asked to consider getting involved in this program.
