2008 Blue Box & Garbage Calendar In mid-January you should have received a copy of the 2008 Blue Box and Garbage Calendar. The calendar has everything you need to know about waste collection in Halton Region including the Blue Box collection schedule and a Halton Waste Management Site overview. Important information about upcoming waste collection changes that start April 7, 2008, which include the GreenCart, a weekly program to collect food waste and compostable papers, can also be found in the calendar. Since waste collection changes are occurring in April, the calendar you received in January is shorter than usual. You will receive a new Waste Management Guide and Collections Calendar in mid-March, which will outline all of our new levels of waste management services in detail.
