For more than 30 years the Lions Club has recog- nized members of the community with the Citizen of the Year Award. Georgetown benefits from the many hours that ded- icated volunteers contribute to sports, culture, social programs, education and all the areas of our daily lives that we sometimes take for granted. If you know a dedicated volunteer please take the time to nominate them. Standard nomination forms are available or prepare a letter highlighting their vol- unteer work (the more detailed the better). Letters and forms can be submitted to the Georgetown Lions Club, P.O. Box 73, Georgetown, ON. L7G 4T1. The deadline for nominations is Feb. 25.
