A:Your most precious commodity is time. Once you have spent it you can neverget it back. On your last day on this earth, if you look back what will you wish you had more of? Time. To do the things you really want with the people you really want to be with. You will wish you had more time to spend with your loved ones having fun. You will not wish you had more time to work, clean house or shop. We are quick to give our time away to anyone who asks for itpeople who want to make small talk or gossip; telemarketers who want to sell us something we dont want; people who want us to donate our time to their causeswe find it so hard to say no to these people and take back the control of our time. Yet we are reluctant to be as generous with ourselves and our loved ones. If you keep in mind that 80% of the meaningful things you accomplish in your life will come from 20% of your time consuming activities, why not spend some time on yourself? Take the time to plan your day; take time to engage in a reenergizing activity during the day, such as a walk or meditation that relaxes and refreshes you. Spend time with loved ones, talking, sharing, laughing and listening. Renew your mind, body and spirit. Respect your time, set priorities, learn to say no to those that intrude and steal your time and learn to say yes to those who you want to share your life with and who will still be there loving you on that last day of your life. Remember, once today is gone, you will never be able to get it back. Make sure you give it meaning. On special occasions give yourself and your loved ones the most precious giftthe gift of time. A:YES. Although some home insurance policies offer limitedinsurance coverage for a home based business by endorsement to the policy, they do not provide the necessary liability coverage needed by consultants and many other professionals working from home. In order to properly protect yourself, and your hard earned assets, a Professional Liability Policy, more commonly referred to as Errors and Omissions Insurance, is recommended for any consultant or professional who makes their living by rendering professional services or advice to others. A homeowners insurance policy is not designed to cover this type of business exposure, and specifically excludes liability for the rendering or failure to render any professional service. Without a Professional Liability Policy in place to protect you in the event of an error or omission made by you your insurance coverage is incomplete. Whenever you have a question about your insurance coverage, a telephone call or visit to your insurance broker for advice is always a good idea. Remember an independent insurance broker works for you, not the insurance company. Professional Arts Building 99 Sinclair Ave., Suite 210 Georgetown (905) 873-6642 LIVING WITH A LOSS OF HEARING Some voices are easier to understand than others. The clearly speaking person produces words that are more precisely formed, or articulated. The rate of speed of words spoken also affects our ability to understand. If one can hear the speaker as he/she is ta lk ing, th is makes i t eas ier to understand. The environment also has an affect on speech understanding bare walls and floors in a room causes sound to bounce around. Keep in mind that it is much eas ier to converse in a qu ie t , carpeted room. Make sure that there is good lighting and try to maintain a speaking distance of less than nine feet. Youll be pleasantly surprised at how much easier conversation is. Hearing loss can dampen enjoyment of movies, music, church services, watching TV, eat ing out and ta lk ing on the telephone. Even a mild hearing loss can reduce your quality of life. The Georgetown by ALEX TRENTON DENTURIST Creating confident smiles since 1982. Alexander Trenton, DD, F.C.A.D. Removable dentures are made of hard, rigid materials, unlike your face, mouth and jaw that are constantly changing over the years. Dentures cannot adapt to these changes, and teeth wear down and become dull with time - your denture might still be in good physical condition, but its fit changes slowly over time, and most people adapt to the changes even though they are illfitting. Your dentures should be checked annually, and replaced every 5 to 10 years. If dentures are not updated, you may suffer adverse health problems, such as painful, irritated gums, softening of the gum, headaches, ear aches, neck pain, more labourous chewing that causes poor digestion. No to mention sagging mouth that can make you look older. Dont take chances with your health. Give us a call for a check up today!
