Marie Greyhounds, showed his fearless side in last summers OLA playdowns against Orangeville and Whitby. He suffered a non-displaced fracture of his wrist but refused to have a cast put on as not to show the opposition any vulnerability, piecing together his own padded brace that allowed him to have protection and more flexibility. This week, MacDonald accepted a scholarship from Trinity-Pawling in New York. I plan to re-do Grade 11 next year so Ill have a fifth year of high school, he added. The next goal is to make it on the Beaches team and I dont think thatll be a problem. Another player from last years Halton Hills midgets, Matt Lord of Caledon, was taken by Peterborough in the second and final round of the OLA Jr. A draft. Twenty-four players were drafted in total. Beware of Bulldogs Training camp starts this Saturday for the Halton Hills Jr. B Bulldogs and theyve got a couple of pre-season tour- naments on tap prior to opening the OLA regular season April 26 at Akwesasne. Theyve also entered an exhibition tourney in St. Catharines April 12, with Niagara, host Spartan and Welland providing the opposition.
