Photo by Ted Brown GLT comedy to open GCS perfoms memorial concert The Georgetown Choral Society, along with its sister choir, the Achill Choral Society, performed the Mozart Requiem Mass at St. Charles Borromeo Cathedral in Toronto recently. The concert was commissioned by Paolo Rogato, local resident and co-owner of the Great Expectations Beauty Spa in downtown Georgetown, as a memorial to his late nephew, Pasquale Miraglia. A. Dale Wood conducted the com- bined choirs, along with a full orchestra and four soloists, soprano Cirinne Lynch, alto Gabriella Prata, tenor Mark Dubois and bass Jonathon Dock. Organist Christopher Dawes said, It has been a privilege for all of us involved to have the opportunity to perform this concert; it has been a memorable evening. Artist call for entry The Art Gallery of Peel has announced a call for entry for its 35th annual juried show, with submissions being accepted from April 14 until April 20. This years adjudicators are Anna Yuschuk, whose Passages exhibition is on display at the Gallery, and curator Ivan Jurakic of Cambridge Galleries.
