The Twisters went on to earn bronze medals at the league champi- onships in Vaughan, downing Port Hope 4-1. The Tyke select #1 Raiders also finished as runner-up in the Tri- County league finals with Orangeville. Minor Peewee Hurricanes A half dozen players from Georgetown helped the Halton Hurricanes post a 28-2-6 record this past season and the team earned its second consecutive bronze medal in the OMHA minor peewee AAA championship tournament in Aurora. Coach Joe Condotta, who is stepping down after four years with the core group of players, had local residents Josh Kalbhenn, Conor Allison, Scott Lamarre, Lucas Condotta, Ryan Howard and Billy Reid in the lineup.
