She asked McArthur how many trucks residents can expect to see at the end of their driveways on a regular basis. McCarthur said typically there will be one truck that picks up both GreenCart and Blue Box materials, another truck for garbage and a third truck for leaf and yard waste. The cost of the additional resources will be absorbed by Miller, Halton Director of Waste Management Rob Rivers told the Champion. A few councillors had some good news to report about the program. Burlington Councillor Peter Thoem said the collection service has been good in downtown Burlington, while Halton Hills Councillor Clark Somerville noted his GreenCart and Blue Box materials were picked up this week at 7:30 a.m. on his scheduled col- lection day.
