There will be seven gardens on display, including the Lucy Maud Montgomery Garden in Norval. Passports are $10 each and are available at Foodstuffs at 89 Main St., South, and Hallmark Greetings at Georgetown Market Place. The fun-filled family event will feature a 5 km walk through Georgetown, followed by a lunch and awards presentation featuring a magician, clowns, face-painting and more fun for the kids! Prizes will be available including a $1,500 cash grand prize and special prizes for kids who really get involved! You can really make a difference to the health of our community by walking or sponsoring a participant, said K.C. Carruthers, executive director, Georgetown Hospital Foundation.
