This incident occurred at Zellers at approxi- mately 20 minutes after a similar theft at Georgetown LCBO. At about 4:50 p.m. Friday a man approached the Zellers cashier with a bottle of water and chocolate bar, telling her he was looking for a certain type of $20 bill. He repeatedly put his hand in the till, telling the cashier they were the bills he was looking for. He managed to grab the cash twice, but the cashier did not believe he had taken any bills, but at the end of her shift she was $690 short. The suspect is described as approximately 25 years old, 58 to 510, Middle Eastern with a strong accent. He was wearing a long, black dress shirt and pants. Police are investigating a break and enter into a Draper St. house that occurred sometime between 2 and 6:20 p.m. Wednesday. An attempt had been made to pry off a sliding win- dow on the house, but no entry was gained. Damage is $200. Wellington OPP were called to a domestic disturbance at a residence in Erin Township Tuesday evening. Investigation revealed a woman had been assaulted by her estranged husband. She didnt require medical attention. Charged with assault is a 46-year-old Georgetown man. Two Acton residents have been charged in connection with a robbery in Acton Sunday evening. Police report a 65-year-old Acton man who drove a man and woman to the Church St. area was robbed. The woman had a knife. Charged with one count of robbery each is Christopher Jubinville, 39, of Church St. and Patricia Mannisto, 42, of Church St. Approximately $500 damage was caused at Ahern Real Estate on Guelph St. when graffiti was spray-painted on the building sometime late Monday or early Tuesday. Police have charged an Orangeville man in connection with an assault of a 23-year-old Georgetown man in Georgetown Fairgrounds Friday, Aug. 8 at 10 p.m. Police say the man was lured to the Fairgrounds by his ex-girl- friend then assaulted by two men. Charged with assault and conspiracy to commit assault is Kyle Good, 22, of Orange- ville.
