Halton Hills Hydro helped offset the cost of the retrofit through the Ontario Power Authority's Electrical Retrofit Incentive Program (ERIP), which provides cash incentives for commercial organizations to reduce their power consumption. Dr. Nigel Phipps (right) accepted a cheque for $3,867 from Halton Hills Hydro OPA Project Consultant Linda Bower and Halton Hills Hydro Corporate Vice-president and CFO Arthur Skidmore. The cash incentive is derived by a detailed formula based on the retrofit work that is done.
