Innerscapes, a collective of six local artists, Beatrice Dumbreck, Herta Hajek, Tiziana Manierka, George Perdue, Eileen Simpson, and Jan Zimmerman has been active for almost seven years showing their work to the public while proceeding on their individual journeys of discovery. As a group, they have remained constant, meeting weekly, attending galleries, partici- pating in art shows, experimenting, and continuing their art education. Each of them has developed their own personal direction and style. In 2002 they developed a gallery in the country on Tenth Line where they have shown their work several times each year. Their group shows bring together a diversi- ty of work, which encourages discussion and learning. The other constant venue for Innerscapes through the years has been at the Halton Hills Cultural Centre on Church St. in Georgetown. This year, their show Zoom Zoom will be held there from November 13 to December 10 with an opening on Thursday, November 15, from 8 to 9 p.m. This is a good opportunity to come out to meet and talk with the artists. Find out what the individuals are planning and what activities they have in store they are also booked there again in June 2008. Local artists group goes Zoom Zoom in The Gallery starting November 13
