Dr. McBean was a lead author of the IPCC assessments in 1990, which led to the UN framework on Climate Change, and again in 1995. That report was used in the negotiations for the Kyoto Protocol. The AGM will take place at Christ the King High School, 161 Guelph St., Georgetown. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., when the silent auction will start. The business portion of the AGM will begin promptly at 7 p.m. and Dr. McBean speaks at 8 p.m., followed by questions. The community is welcome to attend the AGM and to hear Dr. McBean.
