For safety reasons, please remove all appliance doors and empty water from washing machines, dishwashers, etc. Put doors at the curb safely, so they dont become tripping hazards. Acceptable Metal and Appliances include: Regional Council will be considering adoption of the 2008 Budget and passage of by-laws imposing fees and charges on Wednesday, December 19, 2007, at 9:30 a.m. Prior to adoption by Regional Council, the proposed 2008 Budget will be considered at the standing committee meetings listed below. These meetings will be held at the Halton Regional Centre, 1151 Bronte Road in Oakville. Halton residents are welcome to attend the Committee meetings. Yard waste labels for reusable containers are available at no charge from Halton Region. Containers must be no larger than 125 L (27 imperial gallons) or 23 kg (50 lbs).
