PUBLIC OPEN HOUSE GEORGETOWN GO STATION AREA LAND USE STUDY Residents are invited to attend a public session to provide your input on future planning for the Georgetown GO station area. Town of Halton Hills staff and the project consultants are hosting a Public Open House to conclude Phase 2 of the Georgetown GO Station Land Use Study. The purpose of the open house is to provide an opportunity for the public to comment on the proposed Vision and Land Use Alternatives for the GO station area. The Public Open House will include a brief formal presentation at 7:00 p.m., followed by a question period. Display boards showing the land use alternatives and background information will also provide a context for the public to ask questions and engage in discussion with staff and the consultants. Christ the Kings Jaguars improved to 2-0 after a 52-7 thrashing of host Oakville-Trafalgar on Friday, led by two touchdowns from Tyler Fram. Kyle Plastino, David Green, David Pryztula, Dan Rovere and Roy Duodo- Sarpong also got into the end zone for CtKs seniors, with kicker Bi l ly Pavlopoulos adding seven converts and a field goal. Meanwhile, the Georgetown District High School Rebels beat Bishop Reding 28-17 in Milton on Thursday as Rob Cutting produced three major scores for his side. Mitch Racinsky had the other TD for the 1-1 Rebels, wholl host CtK in a dou- bleheader Friday beginning with the senior matchup at 2:30 p.m. Christ the Kings juniors took their opener last week with a 14-7 triumph over White Oaks of Oakville, with Joe Duraj and Brendan Krivec scoring the Jaguar majors and defender Holden Vetro coming up with a timely interception. The GDHS junior Rebels downed Iroquois Ridge 27-21 to start their cam- paign. Basketball A 50-41 win over guest Nelson from Burlington on Monday improved the league record of Georgetowns junior girls to 5-0 and the Rebels now have a firm hold on first place in the HSSAA Poliziani Division. Maggie Darling scored a dozen points for GDHS and Holly Bigg contributed 11 points and 13 rebounds. The junior Rebels wil l travel to Oakville-Trafalgar today (Wednesday).
