Georgetown District High School Athletes of the Week are Emily Driedger and Julian Manchester, both members of the Rebels Cross Country Team and they competed at Erindale Park in Mississauga. Driedger, who ran in the senior girls division, was recognized for finishing 5th of 117 competitors. Manchester, who ran in the midget division, was chosen for finishing 3rd of 7 competitors. Christ the King Catholic High School Athletes of the Week are Candice Swartz and Dan Rovere. Swartz, a member of the Jaguars golf team, was selected for her win at the Rattlesnake Point tournament.
