vide parking facilities for firemen and a new fire hall It is my personal opinion that council should seriously consider other for these much needed facilities such as purchasing property on the east side of the present building for parking and renovating the upstairs of the present building for facilities It is my personal concern that these and other alternatives m considered before destroying a historical landmark that can not be given monetary value only these alternatives may involve a greater capital expenditure and we are all concerned about cutting costs not increas them may I point out that the economy will improve and there will be more funds available but during this time when economic concerns have first priority may we also pause and realize we will never have another opportunity to keep the exist town hall which in my mind reflects our heritage and is a constant visual reminder of Acton in the town of Halton Hills Yours respectfully Marilyn C Names school friends
