Mrs Colton fell down the basement stairs in her home on Friday of last week and on Sunday Todd teenage son of Mr and Mrs John Loughlan was walking along the town line when he was struck down by a car Karyn received a bad gash in her head which required nine stitches Todd was taken to Georgetown Hospital and found to be suffering from shock and bruises to his body but was released and is recovering at his home World wide Communion Sunday was observed on Sunday when a great many worshippers came out to attend the service The childrens choir sang an anthem Praise In Nature Mrs Jill Jessup and Mr Bob directed the children All added much to the service Mr Stiles had a story for the children entitled The Slaver and the Slave also a story about the author of the hymn Amazing Grace which was interesting to both children and grownups After the singing of the hymn Amazing Grace the children retired to their Sunday school classes The ministers sermon was on Caring and Sharing followed by the sacrament of the Lords Supper The girls team had a very successful banquet and dance at the community centre Saturday night The girls provided the food and the music was provided by disc Jockey AH had a good time Morgan returned to Guelph General Hospital on Saturday where he is to un dergo more surgery We hope his stay will be a short one and he returns home com pletely recovered fine and fit again Mr and Mrs returned home to Liverpool England on Sunday evening after visiting with their son here and members of his family Mr Barker from England has relumed for another visit with his daughter Ruby and soninlaw Bob Pinker ton and little grandsons Dogs have been tormenting sheep on the farms in the neighborhood recently Dr Buckrell found several of his sheep had been attacked by motor trip through the coalmining region of Alberta into British Colum bia through magnificent mountain scenery to Grand Forks BC where they visited cousins The return route took them through the Alberta oilfields After a brief rest in Calgary they set out again by car this time to the eastto visit relatives in Earl Then they travelled by air from to Winnipeg where they stopped to visit Mrs Binnies relatives at Warren Man before flying home They reported a lot of wet weother in the west with harvesting delayed because of the rains However the poor weather in no way marred the welcome and
