the Combines Investigation Act against Perfection Automotive Products Windsor Limited The Hudson a Bay Company and Consumers Distrib uting Company limited The companies made representations to the public in with the Perfection Speed Control device It was claimed the device would maintain selected highway speed and assure adherence to posted speed limits The device was tested by the Motor Vehicle Traffic Safety Branch of Transport Canada which found the claims were untrue During tbe tests they also found the device occasionally caused the throttle to stick and this could pose a danger to the public They also expressed the opinion if the device used to worm up a car with a catalytic muffler system damage to the system could result Installation of the device could put the car in violation of the Canada Motor chicle Safety Standards as well as some Provincial vehicle safety a lions Any members of the public who have in stalled this device on their car should have it removed
