recommendations and suggestions Fruit baskets will be delivered by auxiliary mem to the rest homes Tbe childrens Christmas party will be held December 18 Tbe dinner for auxiliary will be on January 14 It Is by tbe Branch and we will exchange gifts as we always do Open euchre will be held on Wednesday December at 7 30 and everyone is wel come Turkeys cakes etc will A cheque was donated to Golden for Council passed the following motion Whereas council has always endeavored to maintain a local Town office in tbe ward one area under the leadership of past mayors be it therefore resolved that council for the Town of Halton Hills by resolution commits itself to do everything possible to ensure there will always remain an office for Acton citizens to pay their taxes locally While all councillors voted for the resolu it was almost shelved Georgetown Councillor Harry Levy said the motion was being thrown at council and it should be given a lot of consideration He asked that it be deferred
