Cross Mrs Erica Thompson will be in charge of blood clinics and Michael Foot Is chairman of the 2nd vice president Mrs campaignfar funds which Is ta- secretary Mrs SanIking place this month Mr will special types of mem bers needed at Branch 120 sev eral people are being sought who ore or could become in terested in Air Cadets The local squadron Le gion Squadron needs a face lilting Job as far as the spon soring committee Is concerned because of business reasons and other commitments the Branch sponsoring committee has be come almost nonexistent This committee Is vitally im portant to the squadron Us a hard working committee but it is also exciting We are speak ing from experience You are working with the youth of Geor getown You work and cooper ate with the squadron officers to produce good Canadian citiz ens The sponsoring committee is made up of a chairman secre tary treasurer and public re lations officer also transporta tion Someone among the over members of Branch must be interested in the youth of the town The Branch In need of your assistance Call In at the Branch and ask for one of the executive members who contact the appropriate person or persons for you Wo promise you much help advice and literature from the Air Cadet league headquarters Tbey are leaning over back wards to assist The other volunteers the Branch Is looking for are per sons who would become track and field official anyone is Interested there Is a school of instruction for track and field officials at Burlington There is much help needed In this area At several at tempts have bees
