their duties Driving infractions resulted in charges being laid against motorists while others received war about their driving habits in Provincial Court led to convictions being registered Officers were called upon to Investigate general oc during the day reporting period Included in this number were thefts 1 of which Involved a motor vehicle 3 In stances of breaking and entering disturbance Investigations under the Liquor Control Act resulting in persons being charged 2 domestic complaints I complaint of trespassers I investigation of wilful i missing person investigation and premises found Insecure by officers on night patrol Many other occurrences of a minor nature and required little investigative time Injuries sustained in a single car collision on Highway Saturday morning resulted in death to one person This was 1 of 16 accidents invcstigjted this week 10 of which in property damage only Six persons received Injuries in the remaining collisions Total property damage was estimated be Contributing factors leading to the accidents were careless driving failing to right of way falling to obey signs and impaired driving To date charges been laid against drivers
