If you can help In any way please attend the meeting The fall Thankof ferlng meeting of Union Presbyterian Church W M S was held in the church Wednesday evening October with Mrs L Young vice president in the chair She welcomed the visitors which were present from neighbouring churches Mrs Thompson Mrs Bruce Mrs P Dick and Mrs Sandles from Brampton Presbyterian Church gave Ihe devotional and Mrs Hutchison and Mrs from Cheltenham Baptist Church sang a duet Rev Robert Wilson was the guest speaker and spoke on his preparations to do missionary work in Nigeria where he and his wife will soon be working and or thecondltionsof lhatcountry He was introduced by Mrs Roy Thompson The offering was received by Mrs Norman and Mrs Bill Hunter and the dedicatory prayer was given by Mrs A VonZuben Mrs Frank gave the courtesies and Rev pronounced the benediction The service was followed with a social hour with Mrs Clarence Anderson and Mrs Herb in charge Mrs C G Bishop and Mrs Young were in charge the Line on Thanksgiving Monday The car was a complete loss Mr and Mrs Goodman were on their way to visit their niece Mrs when the accident Mr Goodman was treated for cuts on the head and released later in the day The Goodman were to have celebrated their wedding anniversary on Saturday October with an open house at the home of Mrs Russell Hutton planned by the family but the celebration has now been post poned to a later date Open house was held at Public School on Wednesday evening October 13th when about parents visited the school and had interviews with he teachers and the principal
