start the political wheels turning In the depart Tor last Wednesday Georgetown first full time paid fire chief Ken and executive members of the volunteer firemen association were asked by the committee to attend this first meeting and were informed that they would be made aware of future meetings Georgetown councillor Ernie Hyde was named chairman of the committee He welcomed the five other members and firemen to the first meeting The first priority to be resolved was the setting up of regular meetings They will take place the first Wednesday evening of every month with extra meetings to be set for Wednesday nights Georgetown reeve Morrow moved that the com resolve the issue of how line officers would be selected at this meeting Cr Hyde said earlier that It should be discussed and resolved among the members of the committee In a closed meeting The meeting was then closed to the public for an hour while the firemen and chief retired for a coffee RECOMMEND The
