charge per person in our Lounge met with the disap proval of several members with the feeling that this Is our Lounge and we shouldnt have to pay to enter It and enjoy the entertainment How do we get more people to come Into the Lounge and clubroom was the question raised by another member With members In the Branch and in the Auxiliary It Is the same 100 from the branch and from the Auxiliary that take the Interest to come down and enjoy the goings on It was suggested at our meeting that a suggestion box be put up so members could submit Ideas If you have a feasible Idea that you think might work talk It over with one or more of the executive or leave a note with the stewards Our Ways and Means chairman is a willing listener and If you can help he or the Entertainment chairman by all means talk to them Roy and Bruce will be glad of any meaningful suggestions You will have to dig out an extra cents for your cigarettes from now on Prices went up last Friday Decoration Day has District Memorial Hospital where he gave the executive a detailed ogress report of the capitals addition and needed equipment for the newly acquired rooms we asked Mr Morris to Bend us a letter with the most urgently needed equipment listed and the approximate price Having done so the letter was read out at our meeting and three items were lUted one at and one for What the needed equipment is is not Important right now What is Important is the amount the members feel they want the Branch to go ahead and spend Mr Morris has said that he and perhaps a Doctor would be more than pleased to come to a meeting of the general membership and discuss this In more detail so as to help you with your discussion A letter will be written to Mr Morris asking him to attend our next meeting which is a
