Family swims are becoming increasingly popular The adults attending adult swims enjoy swimming peaceful lengths free from the boisterous atmosphere of public swimming times With only a month a experience under our belt It hard to believe this we re beginning to plan our fall program We would certainly welcome any comments and suggestions from you Just pop to and voice your opinions We have enjoyed and seen good results from the fiveweek mini courses In Red Cross lessons and feel that all who participated are better equipped with water safety knowledge and skills for their summer lessons Although there will be no evaluation or badges the swimmers receive a letter from their Instructor recommending the level In which they should be enrolled for summer Some swimmers have advanced very rapidly in the five short weeks and they will be allowed to move up to the next level Others will remain in the same class but will find the summer course much easier with the five weeks experience already behind them I myself have received the greatest satisfaction from observing the Small Fry classes agea 3 Their progress from their first lessons of tears and woe to the where most of them are now wateradjusted fundamentals has been very gratifying Moat of you will have received the Recreation Program Pamphlet In the mail by now The Pool section of this pamphlet Is not In effect until June Our current program ends May and a new program for the month of June will be available at the pool next time you come for a swim WATER SAFETY WEEK COMING SOON I June 1 through June Is Red Crow Safety
