and community spirit that Is alive In the district Hugh McFarlane president of the Community Association welcomed the guests and Pat Patterson chairman of the dance com ml tee announced the lucky ticket numbers during the Intermissions Julian Reed and his wife Deanna attended the dance following a couple of other engagements he bad to attend that evening and much to tho enjoyment of those present be sang several numbers played by the band the Country Classics who provided the music for the evening Behrens donated carnations for the ladles at tending the dance but they ran out with none left for the tate Among the many prizes donated for the lucky draws were three lovely plants from Peter Hugh a gift from Kirk Kraft red seats for a hockey game at Maple Leaf Gardens from Pat Patterson
