Year a Eve dance Ralph on piano John In the hall and had a terrific Browne on Jim Holmes on time The Blue Chips have bass and Murray Undo on five fellows in he band and a drums They played a wide selection of music to suit the taste of all present Some of the prize winners I was able to notice were Tom and June Gadiby Bob and Daphne Be mice and Steve Mr and Mrs MOM HER HANDS FULL Marilyn games at the Georgetown Mom and Wright her twin twoyear old sons Programme Steven and Jeffrey enjoys exercise And now comes Mrs John Well Christmas over for another year and the weather cooperated to let families and friends gel together for a happy time of friendship Trees loaded with presents beneath lots of Christmas goodies and good cheer everywhere However unfortunately Christmas was a sad occasion Limehouse news for some One young mans mother died two days before Christmas To them we extend our deepest sympathy At another home the father who had come home from the hospital had to go back on Christmas day for more teats and treatments which we hope will get him on the road to recovery and we wish better health in the New Year And now we ore facing a new year We ore handed It as If It were a clean unspotted sheet of paper A flower unblown a book unread a tree with fruit rated a path a house whose rooms lack yet the heart divine perfume a fountain yet un sealed a treasure with favoured us with a few songs We celebrated Dorothy Wrights birthday and Alice and Tom Elliotts wedding anniversary Frank and Nicholson celebrated their anniversary on New Years Eve Congratulations to and Mrs Ernest McEnery were at Fergus on Sunday They visited with Mr Mra Murray Dyer and Mr and Mrs Mr and Mrs L Marshall spent New Years with Mr and Mrs J Polo and family who live near Guclph Many relatives and friends gathered at the home of Mr and Mrs Charles Burt on the Fifth Line on Sunday to meet the newly married couple Mr and Mrs Ralph Mann The bride and her were dressed In the outfits they wore the week previous the wedding Mrs Frank Freeman assisted the hostess In the kitchen and the younger members of the Burt family served the guests refresh men Is which included a piece of again this week for many of the boys and girls but young student from our neighborhood Is having la holidays extended Barry Wright son of Mr and Mrs Grant Wright com plained of pain on Saturday and after consulting their family doctor he was taken to Guclph General Hospital where It was found that Barry was suffering from An operation was performed at once and Barry is now progressing favourably
