heartfelt sympathy Our and gals did not fair very well in their sports events this past Saturday I am sorry to report Four teams of Euchre players went lo Bronte for the afternoon and when it was all over they had let Port Credit beat them to the top so they will have to show them how it done when they go to Port Credit next year Our gala went to Brampton for crib and euchre and in crib they lost to Brnmp on who were 2nd and 3rd with and Leon a team placing 4th Nice going ladles And our congratulations to the Brampton auxiliary In euchre Erin auxiliary came in 1st With the Acton auxiliary coming 2nd Brampton placing 3rd Acton in there again with a spot and Georgetown team of Floss Tracy Mae Tost Vi Hewitt and Pearl Wilson coming 5th Congratulations to all the winning auxiliary teams and for those that came close there is always next year isn there The main thing was that all of you had a good time I glad to see that the Acton ladies are coming out to a few more events For a long time they were so busy in their branch they have time to participate Many of our auxiliary ladles will be sorry to hear mat Mrs our past zone com monder of the LA has been stricken with a heart attack and is very ill in General Hospital No visitors allowed but I sure a card or note would cheer her up em mensely and knowing so many of friends were thinking of her would speed up her recovery I sure Ladles don forget the rummage sale March The committee would like what you have as soon as you can get It to them as they wish to get it priced They cannot use the hall the before to do It as the hall hand picked team There were four from Ontario and two from Alberta Mike came firat of the four Ontario lads Mike is a dedicated fellow and runs 10 miles a day His mom Enid comes from Bristol which is about a half hour drive from Chepstow so Mike is taking a well earned holiday and spending a few days with his grandparents so who went to watch him run and got a big thrill watching their grandson do
