Four area artists busily prepare for showing 10 1977 I age By KAREN HARD Four semi professional art are exhibiting and selling their crafts in a ranch house behind Terra Inn March 19 and Agnes Olive of Terra Cotta will display pieces made of clay and different prints I am still experimenting cons for different effects by combining he painting with the pottery said Mrs Olive achieves special she collagraph method a silk screen method and mono pnnls arc a col I made from anything placed on a temp plate she uses fish net or cardboard Silk screen effects are achieved by projecting an image on a screen and using to pull Ink through screen In areas not blocked out Mono- prints arc generally made on an etching press but the press costs so she uses a friend wooden mangle All forms of art
