answer the question Why do we advertise NO CREDIT CARDS A substantial increase in sales since we have advertised No Credit Cards is the direct answer People will choose savings over convenience for our merchandise Most of our sales at present of colour TV and large stereo items are on items which carry a regular special price tag of about below list price By eliminating unnecessary costs of operation we can do this and put back a little profit to serve the customer even better Also with the credit card being widely advertised as a means to draw cash many people find the cash goes farther in our store But for real convenience plus saving the credit plans at our disposal are very attractive As a rule of thumb approximately 5 percent of principle gives you a six months contract with first payment in days Quite a difference With all our sources threatening price increases we are still stubbornly selling the bulk of our Colour TV portables and stereo components at as low a price as ever or with only insignificant increase models do change You could say our customers and our people are working together to check inflated prices and doing it effectively too Y truly Earl Ryder
