attended a seminar on the parenting proposal given by Mr during a profes sional development day and lhat at that time she had seen areas in the proposal which could conflict with he home and she suggested that these areas of potential conflict should be ironed out before the board went ahead with any work on implementing the program in the schools Director of education Emcr son Lavender said he and the other members of the execu tive committee would now be looking at alternatives open to the board In the light of the ministry decision not to make parenting education sory at the secondary
