training camp In Florida earlier this week full of ex periencc for future years in the sport of soccer Miller was the Blizzards third round draft pick earlier this year at the annual player selection in New York He was dropped from the on March on the cams lasi cut day Six other flayers were also sent home Miller was the second youngest player attending the training camp at Ihe age of 18 second only to his 17 year old roommate from Don Mills Toronto There were players that The competition was tough I was quite happy that I made it to the last cut Miller said During the camp Miller played in one exhibition game against he United Slates Olympic team where he played 40 minutes or a 90mlnule game 1 fell really good to be able put on a Blizzard uniform and the other play ers on the team really helped me out during the game something which I wasnt used to during camp be cause everybody was fight ing for a job Miller said Toronto ended up winning the game On the last day the coach of the Blizzards Keith Eddy talked to Miller and said that they were pleased with his per tor mances and quite possibly he could be playing for tos reserve team which practices with the big club during
