Almost shut down Contact Centre crisis because of funds shortage j By TAYLOR Herald writer The North Contact Centre is short of both funds and volunteers to man Its 14hour distress phone and without cither one those the centre could be forced to close Its doors permanent In the six years since the began operating the distress line has been open continuously hours a day without a holt Last week for the first time It appeared like that the service would have to be shut down for few hours because there t enough volunteers to answer the phones enough voiunteersuere found and the service was
