disappointment In Burlington the Meteor Mosqintos went down against Pelham in a match which was dose in goals yet the lads had per cent of the play It goals that count however and got the one that mattered The played well enough not to be loo disappointed Following were the Pee Wee who beat Dundas into submission by a deserved victory This was a long slog and at the end the guys were deserved winners and out played their opponents In the Major Atoms had a game and tournament victory their second having won as Squirts two years ago The young fellas recorded wins over Rochester NY Milton and They met Brantford also undefeated In the final A first minute goal from the kick off gave them a great start and they went on to win for the championship In Niagara the Senior Girls rtached the consolation final on Sunday They were by Cunningham Jones and Cathy Dob- son the Vnlentinas NOISY CROWDS The Cedarvale matches went off in fine weather and before some fair sized crowds supportive and noisj in encouragement The first game went to the Cobras over the Spitfires In the Hal ton Community Credit Union Atom division The Bantam division gave us on upset result The Hawks were up for the day and had a nice victory over the Metros The Varinn Squirt division saw an Ing match with the Wildcats winning the trophy and the runners up are the Ghosts The Hustlers recorded a win over the not disgraced Report 1 Georgetown In another game it took Georgetown a long time to play to a standstill My notes fu of early plays by Jerome Stone breaking down on the edge of penalty area The game cut short duo to darkness nevertheless not a bad result against the strength of Oak vilie Highlights were Cathy first half diving clutch save and her second half touch over the ball from a rocket shot In the second Penny belted away some good clearances from her usual defense lion Vera Carole Johnston and Jones returned from injury to hob ble around Pal Turner Join Thorpe on the brigade Never rains
