voted to ask the construction company to pick up the tab for appraising the Mill Street property but Coun Ross Knechtel wondered if this was a good idea Perhaps we should pay for the appraisal that way we choose who does It and have control over the final results Coun Knechtel said Later we can ask them to pay for the appraisal if and when we trade Mayor Pete stated that It was a hell of a good deal for Rugby Construction which he said stands to profit by it I think however that we can effectively control the ap praisal by appointing an ap praiser of our choice Mayor said Park comprises approximately one acre and could conceivably be develop ed for seven single family lots The land owned by the con company 3 acres borders on Prospect Park with much of it in the flood plain Development opportunity would be limited by the Credit Valley Conservation Author The proposal was shelved until Mayor Pete raised the question again In late The labor situation within Bell Carada
