facilities that are available in the area from the Authority There are four main com ponents to the program and they are provided absolutely free to any group or or go mm that could benefit from the CHAIRMANS MESSAGE HALTON REGION CONSERVATION AUTHORITY A Travelling Environmental Puppet Theatre will provide an interesting introduction to conservation for young children Puppetry a spontaneous dialogue between the puppet characters and children which the Autho rity hopes will be the si cat ton needed to drive home some important lal messages A mobile unit called Community Caravan for Conservation with a walk through exhibit will be avail able for special community events This unit is equipped with exhibits on conservation and will be manned by project staff who will be able to answer questions hand out literature and maps and provide conservation demon si rations The third component of the project Is natural science camp open to students 1416 years old who have displayed a keen interest in resource management This residential camp will involve indepth studies of natural communities and their proper management The last component of the program will include assist a nee to community lions and agencies that require technical Information on natural resources or groups who would like to volunteer for practical conservation projects like stream clean up or nest box construction These services ore free to any organization in the water shed and the Authority would like to encourage groups to take advantage or them as port of their own program or special events Agricultural office The meet started off with the Secre tary reading the roll call As the members names were called they were to say where they were putting their chickens and whether the area was
