recently In George town ana were hosted by the local Lodge Pride 393 This was the occasion of the Provincial Grand Lodges anniversary as welt as the flOth anni versary of Pride and tho first time that Grand Lodge sessions have been held In George town Sessions were held In Knox Presbyterian Church Hall and the ladles groups of the church catered the meals A service of worship was conducted May by Rev minis from St Andrews United Church In Hamll ton Petherick Is the son of Elsie of Weston who was the first Provincial Grand Mistress of Ontario Following the service which was well attended by members and friends the Seating Ceremony of the Provincial Grand Lodge Officers took place In the church hall with Daisy Harris presiding The Degree Team per formed a very special drill and welcome for the Grand Mistress Jessie and her officers Honored platform guests were several mem here of the family Harry son Blake and daughter Karen her husband Jack and children Lesley and Michael from Sunday was mostly floe for the annual outdoor service and picnic for the Church held at the home of Paul and Helga Schwon It was a Joyous service of worship with the child and adults taking part along with the minister Rev Bandy Just before the singing of the last hymn Pat Kerr Sunday school superintendent had a few words to say She wanted to thank the faith ful and dedicated Sunday Noval school teachers who spent lime preparing the lesson sometimes with disap pointment when the pupils did not ahow up Sunday morning There were however Mrs Kerr said many faithful young folk and children who there will be a new committee formed hopefully there will be a good response as tbey ask for volunteers The present leaders and the group committee again say for the cooperation tbey have re ceived
