cohosted by Eliza beth Wilson and Jean Rob- Marilyn McNabb hosted a shower for the area people and Mary held a shower for the family Mil ton held a presentation party where the bride has been employed for the past year A personal shower was held by her college friends and Karen Brush of RR1 held a miscellaneous shower Ruth Anne is the daugh ter of Anne Wilson and the late Earl Wilson of and Nick Is the son of Roy and Anno of Rill Acton Nick is employed at Klmbcrley Clarke of Tor onto In the computer divis ion and Ruth Anne has been on the staff of the Milton working in the Day Care Centre The were sitting be side a lady from Acton While going through Green Gables at Cav endish we met the Mc- from Georgetown and we also called on Jack and Ina Webb Reed and her aunt Anita Webb who spend the summer at their home in Cavendish Potatoes are a big crop in I However It also has a special Interest because of the Anne books whose author was LM Montgomery the Presby terian ministers wife in for many years Nova Scotia has its Peggys Cove and Cape Breton its Cabot Trail We called on Donald Wilson and family in New Glasgow N S and renew ed family friendship Each province has its own distinct always be remembered We were on four differ ent ferries tbe longest being a threehour trip from across the Bay of to St John We came back by way of the States and found tbe highway very scenic with
