tickets our food booth used at different throughout the town and the canteen at the ballpark we are able to help many area sport programs and other worthwhile community pro jects In be last couple of years we were able to support minor hockey over minor ball over and our own programs such as cross country run the volleyball the basketball skill over The social programs such as big brothers Meals on Wheels and Red cross took another We have put over ooo in youth development programs such as speaking bike safety respect for law Boy Scouts Lome Scot Cadets and Appreciation Week More nan has gone In our drug awareness program This year our total budget is We want the people of Georgetown and area be aware that these are your dollars put o use in your community to the betterment of our children and e want to thank you far hem We are sure that all those who benefit from your gener through the Optimists wish to echo their feelings as well We have been very ambitious in putting a drug awareness program together and hove been successful In putting Into many of our local schools It is basically a program designed to make our children aware of the effects of drugs on the human body We are
