bars routine when she fell on her head with her mother looking on amongst the crowds that had gathered to watch the demonstration She t hurt but the 1 gymnast was red faced over the dent Lisa began gymnastics when she was 2 years old in a Toddler gym class After Joining a recreational gymnastics course for two years her coach suggested she try out for the Halton Hills Jills gymnastics club At age she began training as a gymnast with the Jills It was difficult at first because she t know anyone in the club but Lisa soon fit right In and learned more difficult maneuvers like back hand tougher Now that he is lng four days per week she has little time to participate in other hobbies Lisa said she was In Guides last year and wanted to move to Path finders but there wosn t time She enjoys gymnastics because she gets to meet other kids outside of school The grade eight student likes soccer as well as gym at school Lisa does well In French and math although she t particularly like those subjects One thing about gymnastics is that it gets her out of the house and she doesn have to do as much cleaning Lisa said Lisa won any ribbons thus far In the competitive stream She la
