Milk used to be shipped by CNR for 15 cents a can Wilfrid Leslies milk no longer travels the slow and windy road down to the Nerval train station Back In the horse and democrat era Wilfrid aged remembers taking the milk from his dairy operation on the Line to where it was shipped by the CNR for IS cents a can In 1921 a full milk can was valued at but today the same milk can costs tie For years the Leslie family has been shipping their milk to Toronto most recently via the Milk Marketing Board trucks seen rumbling down the high ways to processing plants in the big city That long trek to Toronto ended Monday when William Ltd of Georgetown received the Leslie farm milk for use in their newly expanded plant Ironically the Leslie farm overlooks the Neil Three Rene rations of the
