that 1 ve written I always came up with a witty remark or insult about the movie but I can honestly admit that I can do that fur this movie It was perfect and it no surprise to me that A Passage to India won eleven Academy Award nominations Including Best Actress and Best Director The movie is adapted from the novel by Us about the effects of the British In India and the problems and adventures of a certain Muslem and a couple or English tourists At first the movie may seem a little boring but it has a terrific ending The movie Is set In the fashion of an Agatha Christie novel and that the highest complement I will pay to a film The photography is the best part of the movie The plot may be a little complicated to understand at first but the course of events smooth themselves out A Passage to India stars Dame Peggy of Jewel in the Crown and Judy Davis from Jenny by Both of their were wonderful A Passage to India is a good film because it docsn t need sex and violence to draw a crowd Director David Lean fully utilizes the tremendous script as well as acting talent to make A Passage to India a film that should not be missed WINTARIO THURSDAY MARCH 28th GEORGETOWN DISTRICT
